Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art

The Free State of Bavaria and the universities of applied science (UAS) have been practising a cooperative relationship for years. The Free State ensures reliable frameworks for the UAS. In the context of the Hightech Agenda, a comprehensive revision of the Bavarian Higher Education Act will further strengthen the individual responsibility of the UAS. A generous research budget creates freedom for applied research at these higher education institutions.

Thanks to their expertise in research and transfer in relevant future-oriented fields such as artificial intelligence and digitalization, the UAS in return contribute to the innovative capability of Bavaria and thus to its well-being.
